January 2013 Fearless Presentations in Washington DC

Past Fearless Presentations ® Classes

Folks in the Washington DC area decided to tackle the New Year the right way by seeking to overcome their Public Speaking fears.  The Leaders Institute ®, catered to about a dozen individuals who wanted to kick off 2013 in a powerful way.

Empowerment and inner wisdom are accessible by everyone, however, sometimes it takes a catalyst to spark that confidence and open the door to the immense power that we all possess.  The Fearless Presentations® course became a medium for many of the individuals who attended in Washington DC.

We had individuals from Gov't agencies, DC January 2013a lawyer from a leading consumer products company, a few successful entrepreneurs, as well as leaders from the non-profit world and a traffic safety expert from the Caribbean.  When such a diverse group of individuals in terms of background and skill level come to the course, it can indeed be a challenge to provide a high level of value to everyone.  Yet, one of the unique aspects of the course is that as instructors, we focus on the individual needs and goals of the participant rather than creating a cookie-cutter class which may only benefit a few.

In our Fearless Presentations ® courses, the class sizes are kept at a reasonable level in order to provide maximum interaction between the instructor and the class member.  This allows for an ongoing feedback loop throughout the two days where the participant can instantly receive comments after a talk and implement that feedback on the next attempt.  In essence, each person in the class gets a unique opportunity to expand at their own pace and level.

The Leaders Institute ®, re-visits Washington DC after every three months and also has offerings in nearby cities such as Baltimore and Philadelphia.

After the class, I am certainly more confident in my presentations and will remember the key points [we covered] in my big presentation next month - Alice H.
