On May 7th, 2026, 4 people gathered from across the US for a spectacular 2 day public speaking class in Chicago, IL. With attendees traveling everywhere from a few blocks away to a few states away, the 2 days had to be worth the trip. Luckily, all 4 got exactly what they were looking for and more. Over that Thursday and Friday, they learned not just how to topple public speaking fear, but also how to become better storytellers, presenters, writers, and speakers!

Fearless Presentations® Brought Four People From All Over the Country to Chicago in May 2026 For an Unforgettable Public Speaking Class
The class kicked off at 9:00 am. Before lunchtime rolled around, the group knew they got more than they paid for. In those first few hours, the secret to eliminating public speaking fear was already shared. The class was also being trained to become better storytellers. By the end of day one, everyone understood how to be a fearless presenter. Now they just had to become a great one.
That was the goal of day 2. As 9:00 am Friday struck, the 4 flooded in with unfounded energy and excitement. While day 1 certainly had a couple chances for participants to speak, day 2 was jam packed with it. Everyone in the class gave multiple speeches. They received immediate feedback and applied it to the next presentation. The class concluded with one grand presentation from each participant. Each person demonstrated everything they had learned so far. Following that speech, all 4 were given their certificates.
This wasn’t only a momentous class for the participants, but for the one teaching it as well! CEO of Fearless Presentations, Doug Staneart, flew up from Dallas to watch Scott Ray Merchant teach. With this phenomenal class, Scott is now a verified instructor as well. It was an amazing end of the week for everyone involved!
