A Recent Public Speaking Course in Charlotte, North Carolina

A Recent Public Speaking Course in Charlotte, North Carolina I had a fun time helping teach a public speaking course in Charlotte, NC last week. We had another full class. And this presentation class was co-taught by one of our newest instructors, Toby. He flew in from Tampa to help out.

The two-day public speaking course is broken into three sections. On the morning of the first day, we covered three modules that are each designed to help participants feel more comfortable in front of a group. Once someone reduces public speaking fear and stage fright, doors begin to open quickly.

In part two, we focused on using stories and examples to both make presentations more interesting and make the presenters more persuasive. We also covered ways to identify each person’s strengths and weaknesses when they stand up to speak.

On day two, we focused on how to design and deliver better presentations and add energy to the delivery. Then, in the afternoon, they put everything together and delivered some stunning presentations.

Public Speaking Course in Charlotte Helps Presenters Become More Poised and Confident.

The public speaking course works so well because we break the presentation into these components. Then, we have each class member master each component before beginning a new module. So, the group stacked up success after success after success. Each new assignment was just a little more difficult than the last. This building process helped each person become a more confident and poised presenter.
