Fearless Presentations® returned to sunny California to teach a truly international public speaking class. The participants in the class were from the United Kingdom, France, India, and the United States. Some of them struggled a fear of public speaking. While others were looking for ways to deliver presentations creatively.
On the first day of class, the instructor gave them a few tips to cope with public speaking fear. The group also learned about including examples and stories in presentations.
Then, on the second day, the instructor gave them ways to creatively engage the audience. He showed them how to use analogies to spice up their presentations. Many of the participants came to the class to learn how to create PowerPoint presentations. However, as the presentation class progressed, they learned to design their speech first. Then, create their slideshow as a visual aid.
By including these elements in their presentations, their confidence improved dramatically.
