More Power in PowerPoint

In this free public speaking tip video, Doug Staneart, CEO of Fearless Presentations®, gives a few great tips on how to put more power in your PowerPoint presentations. This video was shot live during one of Doug’s public speaking classes with a single take, so the video gives you a good idea of what the 2-day Fearless Presentations® public speaking class is really like. Many participants in this class come to the seminar because they are looking for a better way to deliver PowerPoint presentations. In the video, Doug explains that the biggest mistake that a lot of presenters make is by starting the preparation with designing their slideshow. PowerPoint needs to be a visual aid for an already created presentation, not the actual presentation itself. You will have better results if you figure out what you want to say, and then choose visual aids that help you get your ideas across to your audience better.

So, start by organizing your speaking points, and then create your slideshow!
